ABOUT US

A Leap of Taste is an independently owned and operated café that offers exceptional beverages and food, a unique shopping experience and a welcoming environment. More than that, A Leap of Taste supports young adults through an on-the-job training program that strives to teach students workplace ethics, healthy choices, community participation and self-efficacy.

As much as possible, A Leap of Taste carries items that are local and sustainable. Items include whole bean coffee, honey, chocolates and locally made gifts. We carry products from Patagonia Provisions, Barebones, Yeti, Mohinders, Potential Farms, Euphoria Chocolate, and CafĂ© Mam coffee.

A Leap of Taste hosts live music Saturdays after 11am. Stop in and check our music schedule for details. Catering and space for private parties or meetings can be provided. Please contact us for more details.

We specialize in Vegan and Gluten Free Options. Soups, salads, sandwiches, drinks and baked goods are a few things we are able to meet your dietary needs, just let staff know!

We offer an array of catering from fine dining to office luncheons or breakfast gatherings. Delivery is a possibility for such occasions. We also offer on site or in your venue of choice for our private intimate dinning experiences.

A Leap of Taste offers an inviting space and the fastest free Wi-Fi connection downtown. We often do special events that focus on our beloved community.

    I really love this #4, the pesto on it is my favorite! There's always a tasty treat on their case. I tried the gluten free brownie and it was good. It was more cakey than chewy.

    The truffles are good!

    Their restaurant is really cool. Lots of organic, local, and eco-friendly-type items. They have nice outdoor seating for the nicer weather months.

    lways friendly service and good, healthy food. They offer as many organic options as they can and always have vegetarian and vegan options as well. They're good at creating some awesome weekly smoothie options too! Their vegan soups have always amazed me with wonderful flavors!

    I love and adore this place so much. They're so creative and always inventing new things to try. Excellent service and food as well as beautiful environment. I have had everything from breakfast burritos, frittata, coffee drinks, lemonade, salads, sandwiches, etc. My favorite things are the gyro bowl, salmon salad, soups and gluten free paninis. I don't think you can go wrong with anything. Such a good community oriented staple. Live music, local products, quiet nooks and more.

    Has everything one could ask for in a coffee shop: quality food and coffee, comfy furniture, high ceilings, employees that aren’t bitter, and good wifi.

    Only one thing would improve this place: a door that shuts properly on cold days.

    The egg drop soup was DELIGHTFUL. I love the highlight of pepper in the soup. No joke artichoke was wonderful too. I swapped the turkey for Portobello mushroom and held the bacon. đź‘Ś Service was kind and the restaurant is clean.

OUR MISSION

A Leap of Taste serves Klamath Falls with an inviting downtown community space, market and gourmet deli. We strive to commit ourselves to fair and just trade principles in all our offerings. Our gathering space, which displays local artwork, provides a downtown space for meetings and social gatherings. We work to develop our local economy by offering a retail area filled with local and sustainable products. In our partnership with Dragonfly Transitions, we offer young adults job training and experience and prepare them to join the workforce.
